Working for you in Jefferson City and Beyond...Our legislative team is, in essence, the "political arm" of our organization. We work to influence, shape and even inspire legislation favorable to Missouri psychologists. Likewise, we're vigilant to monitor or work to block legislative initiatives which could be detrimental to our members.
We often collaborate directly with governmental agencies and officials to ensure our voices are heard in Jefferson City and beyond. In cases of time-sensitive legislative issues, our members are quick to reach out to their own legislators in an effective and grassroots approach to communicating MOPA member-supported initiatives and perspectives. |
