Student Scholarship Opportunities - the George Harris Scholarship Application
Not long ago, long-time MOPA Member Dr. George Harris had some thoughts: "Why aren’t more young psychologists coming to the annual MOPA conference where they could meet and talk with colleagues in a more relaxed setting? And what can be done to get them to attend?"
He worked with MOPA leadership to create a new scholarship program to help supplement or sponsor psychology students and Early-Career Psychologists interested in registering for the MOPA 2020 conference. Dr. Harris kicked things off with a $100 contribution to the new MOPA Conference Scholarship Fund.
So if you're a student interested in applying for the scholarship or a professional interested in sponsoring a student, read on for how you can help shape the future of Missouri psychology!
Each year, MOPA offers a limited number of scholarships to help students attend our annual conference. We remain committed to providing as much assistance as we can to keep registration fees from being a barrier to conference attendance. Interested?
