2016 MOPA Legislative Day Scheduled for March 30

Please come to the Capital at 9:00 a.m. and meet in an alcove at the rotunda where we will be stationed. Also, plan on scheduling appointments with your representatives to advocate for the causes that will ensure long-term and reliable access to care for our clients. 


Schedule for Day:

• 9:00 a.m.                         Arrive in Capital Rotunda, Floor 2 Alcove
• 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.       Meetings with Representatives
• 12:30 p.m.                        Lunch (Room reserved at Madison's)
• Afternoon                         Continued Meetings as Necessary

Relevant Issues:

• H&B Codes in the House and Senate
• Increased Controls & Regulation of Managed Care 
• Provider Reimbursement Increases
• Telehealth and Review Panel Representation
• Two (2) Year Limit on Civil Liability
• General Awareness & Increased Visibility

I want to thank all of you that have been fighting long and hard on these issues. This really is a year that could be a turning point (for better or worse) on a lot of key issues affecting our profession. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you on March 23!
