COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Differential diagnosis is crucial to ensure accurate, targeted treatment. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) shares symptoms with other neurodevelopmental conditions, trauma, and other mental health conditions which complicates diagnostic decision making. In an ever changing landscape, it is important that psychologists have timely and accurate information when considering a diagnosis such as ASD, which may not be covered in training programs.

About the Webinar:

Course objectives:
At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
  • Describe core diagnostic criteria for ASD and related diagnoses
  • Analyze symptom profiles associated with trauma and the intersection with diagnostic decision-making
  • Identify overlapping symptomatology with ASD that complicate differential diagnosis

Please note: this webinar will be conducted via Zoom.  By registering for this webinar, you are agreeing to Zoom's privacy policy.
