COURSE DESCRIPTION:
It's estimated that 12 million Americans have used some form of psychedelic medicine in 2025. Psychedelics are no longer confined to the fringes of society. This presentation is meant to familiarize the audience with current understanding of psychedelic use in research, social or "underground" settings, and potential clinical applications. The presentation will also address misunderstandings about psychedelics that may be based in concepts associated with the war on drugs and D.A.R.E.
