We Are Psychologists: Integrating Practice, Education, and Science
ABOUT MOPA 2026 PRESENTATIONS:
MOPA invites proposals from members, psychologists, students, interns, postdoctoral fellows, and interdisciplinary partners. This year we celebrate the full scope of our profession—researchers, practitioners, advocates, leaders, academics, and mentors. We especially encourage submissions that advance psychology as a whole—for example, by strengthening the evidence base, improving quality and access, informing policy, enhancing public trust, or growing the workforce.
SESSION FORMAT OPTIONS:
- Blitz Talk: ~15 minutes (will be part of a multi-presenter, multi-topic session featuring powerful, quick-focused overviews -- open to professionals OR students/post-docs/interns or faculty)
- Full Session: 1 hour
- Interactive/Multi-Presenter/Panel: 1.5 hours
- Clinical Care & Practice Innovation — assessment, intervention, testing, neuropsychology, integrated care, telehealth.
Why it matters: Improves outcomes and expands access to effective services. - Science & Methods — with practice, supervision, or policy-relevant results — research design, measurement, open science, replication.
Why it matters: Builds rigorous, cumulative science that guides care, supervision, and policy. - Advocacy, Policy & Public Impact — parity, licensure, reimbursement, public education, enhanced access and quality of care
Why it matters: Aligns systems and funding with psychological science. - Leadership, Management & Supervision — team culture, ethics, burnout, supervision models.
Why it matters: Builds high-reliability organizations that sustain quality care. - Education, Training & Mentorship — teaching innovations, competency-based training.
