Student Data Blitz
The Data Blitz Presentations will be Saturday morning at 8 a.m. in the Student Union on the 4th Floor. This is the current order of presentations. Please check your presentation title and spelling of your name.
Registration
All presenters are required to register. You are welcome to have friends or family attend your presentation session, but if they plan to stay beyond the 8 a.m. hour Saturday, we will need to ask them to pay a small fee to cover the food costs.

Friday Night Reception – You’re the Guest of Honor!
Celebrate with us Friday evening as we host a reception featuring the annual MOPA Awards and delicious hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will also be available (bring cash if you’d like beer or wine).
Saturday ECP & Student Lunch
We'll have a special breakout ECP- and Student-focused lunch on Saturday with several of our MOPA leadership, including our President-Elect, Secretary and our ECP Leaders. Join us for this box sandwich lunch and engage with your peers.
Snacks & Drinks All Day
Expect cookies, Cheez-Its, Kind Minis, nuts, fruit, bottled water, coffee (reg & decaf), tea, and soft drinks to keep you fueled and focused.
Student Union Facilities
The UMKC Student Union will have a limited restaurant open in the lower lobby

You’ll be presenting alongside a dynamic group of professionals, including:
- More than 70 total attendees
- Fellow students and early career psychologists (ECPs)
- Mid- and late-career professionals with up to 40+ years of experience
Your Presentation
- Please email your final presentation by Thursday, June 19 at 5 PM to Emily at [email protected] We will pre-load all files to the presentation room computers.
- HOWEVER, bring a backup!
Please also bring a copy on a flash drive or email it to yourself—tech issues happen, and we want you covered. - REMEMBER THIS IS A BLITZ! We're excited to offer several presentations within the hour, so please be respectful and keep your presentation to the 5 minutes. This will include any Q/A.
- Handouts:
Feel free to bring any printed materials to share with your breakout session audience. Note: there is no onsite printing available. - Room Setup & A/V:
- All sessions will be held in a classroom-style room with tables.
- Each room includes a PC laptop, projector, screen, and slide clicker.
- Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. to ensure your presentation is ready to go.
- A MOPA board member or volunteer will be in the room to introduce you, assist with tech, and support the CEU process.
- Need special A/V or accessibility accommodations? Contact Emily Dahlbeck so we can support you.
- Recording: We are hoping to record your session and will work to make it available post-conference.
Helpful Tips for Student Presenters
- Practice your timing — Stick to your session’s time limit to allow Q&A and transitions.
- Dress comfortably professional — No suits required, but look polished and confident. You may have a future employer in the audience!
- Network! — Come early and stay late. Say hello to ECPs, practitioners, and MOPA board members.
- Tag us! — Use #MOPA2025 and tag @mopaonline on your social media posts.

ABOUT THE LOCATION
PARKING
Directly north of the Student Union is the Cherry Street Garage. Please go to the 5th level of the garage. You may park here free of charge. Just stop by the guard gate on your way out the door with your license plate number and tell them you are with the MOPA Conference. When you exit the building on the south exit, walk through the covered walkway, past the two residence halls and toward the Union Theater entrance of the Student Union.
